The Peasants Are Revolting

Across the globe, from Tripoli to Texas, people are protesting their national governments. Often these regimes are composed of an elite few who have lost touch with reality. They try to stay in power by controlling what the press is allowed to publish. In this way they can set terms of debate, and marginalize dissent. Despite their attempts to stay in power, regimes are being swept away.

In the science world, there is growing resistance to the idea of "dark energy." In turn, DE has led to doubts and confusion about dark matter. A former string theorist, now exiled to China, writes in Alpha Meme:

"The public repulsion against dark matter and dark energy is really annoying. Rob Knop at scientopia compares it to 17th century catholic church mentality; Ethan picks it up and bangs the dark matter explains everything drum although dark matter does not fit very well to galaxy rotation curves – Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) fits much better:"

The "dark energy" link to Wikipedia clearly states that DE is a "hypothetical" form if energy. The link from a former member of the Supernova Cosmology Project, one group which claimed to discover DE, is equally dismissive of the public. He now blogs from Squamish, British Columbia:

"I am regularly struck, when giving public outreach talks, or when hearing the topic of Dark Matter discussed amongst the general non-Astronomer public, at the separation between acceptance of Dark Matter between astronomers and the general (informed) public. (The general public at large probably doesn't have enough of a clue about Dark Matter even to have a wrong opinion, alas!)"

Remarks like this will alienate the public which funds science. In turn this will lead to more ridicule for "dark energy" and its advocates. The idea of a repulsive energy has been very bad for science. When will the scientists admit that the Emperor has no clothes? A simple expression like GM=tc^3 shines light on these dark mysteries.

I never understood Dark Energy and I have a BS in Engineering Physics, I can understand why the "well informed public" doesn't believe it.

Have you ever thought of putting together a short lecture video similar to the ones done by Salman Khan?
If you could explain the theory, without the use of calculus, then show graphically how all the data fit. These nonscientific people would be willing to believe the idea of "something moving very fast slows down over time." In every day life most everything else acts this way so it makes sense.
Dark Energy is an oxymoron and just doesn't relate to anything a normal person can wrap their mind around. It is no wonder they don't trust it.

/*..The public repulsion against dark matter and dark energy is really annoying..*/

During during time the following particles were proposed as the probable constituents of dark matter by mainstream peer-reviewed theories. I ordered them by their average rest mass, which differs in twenty(!) orders of magnitude: scalar field, quintessence, mirror matter, axions, inflatons, heavy photons, fat strings, sterile neutrinos, chameleon particles, dark fluid and dark baryons, fotinos, gravitinos and WIMPs, SIMPs, MACHOs, RAMBOs, DAEMONs and micro-black holes. And I probably missed many others...
The mainstream physics nuts are just trying to save the reputation of mainstream physics, when most of theories developed during last forty years just blown out (Higgs boson, supersymmetry, extradimensions, micro-black holes, superstring theory - not to say about many ad-hoced phenomenological predictions, like the fat strings, W' bosons, Z' bosons, preons, Randall-Sundrum gravitons, leptoquarks, low-mass superpartners, di-jet suppression of QGC, CPT violation etc.).
We can just compare the effort and money introduced into this re-search for essentially useless artefacts with the years standing ignorance of extremely important findings of cold fusion, antigravity or room temperature superconductivity. This way of research will not save us against global energetic and environmental crisis, risk of nuclear wars for the rest of oil sources, etc.. It's just a direct way to the hell...
From AWT follows, most of dark matter is formed with antimatter directly and it's just a shame, this hypothesis wasn't considered from its very beginning. The physicists apparently love the spending of money in artificially constructed problems: on the one side they're looking for antimatter "missing" after Big Bang - on the other side they're developing a redundant explanations of dark matter (the more theories, the more theorists can publish their articles). Such dull ignorant approach just helps them to keep their jobs and overemployment in theoretical physics.

Such a full of emotions article. People are protesting their national governments because they want better for themself. And I think it's right. I have a task to write a communication paper and I decide to write it to our government too. Like to support people who are fighting in this way. Hope it's will succeed.
